Zac Efron’s Engagement Rumor Is Not True
Zac Efron has spoken out to quash speculation he’s engaged to girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.




Britain’s News of The World newspaper on Sunday quoted Hudgens, 20, as saying, “We haven’t set a date and if we did we’d keep it secret for as long as possible.

“Why? What if one of us was offered a major film part? Then we’d have to postpone our marriage and people would say we’d split up. And we don’t want that.”

On Zac Efron’s recent hospitalization for appendicitis, Vanessa Hudgens replied, “He’s doing good.”

The teen star admitted she just wants to be normal, even though she made $2 million last year, saying, “I miss being able to walk around in sweats 24/7. You don’t want to get caught wearing a nasty old shirt!”

The fresh-faced singer-actress is excited to be a part of the latest crop of starlets (including BFF Ashley Tisdale) to take over. She added, “It’s time for a new generation. To be part of that is really cool.”
